The camera is a 5MP Autofocus MIPI camera module based on OV5640 CMOS sensor from Omnivision that supports key features like Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, and so on. The camera supports image capture in BMP format and supports video streaming in YUV format. The camera supports 2-Lane MIPI CSI-2 Interface and has been tested with platforms such as Raspberry PI, Nvidia Nano and Nvidia XavierNX. 

Camera Overview: 

  • Sensor: 1/4” Sensor with 1.4um pixel size. Based on BSI 2 Technology. 
  • Resolution: VGA, 720p, 1080p, and 5MP (2592 x 1944). 
  • Lens Details: VCM based Auto-Focus lens with Focus range of 100mm to Infinity.
  • Default Lens Field of View: 74DFOV, 84 DFOV.
  • Dimensions: 40 mm(L) x 15 mm (B) x 9 mm (H)
    • Board 1: Camera Module housing sensor, ISP, Lens, Lens Holder. 
    • Board 2: Adapter Board for either 2-Lane MIPI-2 Termination or 4-Lane MIPI CSI-2 Termination. 
  • Conformity: ROHS3 Compliant, REACH Compliant. 
  • Platforms Supported: Raspberry PI, Nvidia Nano, Nvidia Xavier NX.
