Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson became popular on YouTube for giving away over a million dollars to unknown people and friends through donations. Now, a video on his channel answers the question everyone is asking: where does all that money come from?
Most of Donaldson's $1 million donations come from brand deals, which many fans suspected, but he also uses his fame and virality to enhance his personal earnings. The more viral and well-known it is, the more brands will want to work with it, and the bigger your YouTube ad revenue will be. Thus, you can draw more attention to the public with larger donations.
It started with deals with companies like Quid, who worked with Donaldson on $10,000 videos. Donaldson donated everything: to people on the street, to Twitch streamers, to his parents, friends, and even his fans.
Donaldson explains in his video that after donating $10,000 to a homeless man, he realized he liked helping people, so he kept doing it. But Donaldson realized something else: the higher his donations, and the rarer the way he gave the money, the faster his channel grew. Donaldson went from having a relatively small channel to amassing more than five million subscribers. His videos already get more than 10 million views in a few weeks. All this, as Donaldson says at the end of the video, allows him to get quite a lot of money.
"If you want to know my secret, where it all comes from: my parents don't have a lot of money, I'm only 20 years old, every dollar I made came from YouTube, and YouTube pays better than you think," says Donaldson.
What disease does MrBeast have?

The disease caused him to lose a total of 30 pounds in a single summer, approximately 14 kilos. This painful disease affects the intestinal tract from the end of the small intestine to the colon, Mr. Beast himself said that he has to follow an identical diet every week, where he eats certain foods to alleviate the problem and feel as good as possible.

His main branch of movement is YouTube where he uploads all his crazy things, but the most important thing is that he has two channels where he uploads his videos.
These two channels are both in their native language, English, and one in Spanish. On his main channel in English he has more than 88 million subscribers, while on his channel in Spanish he has a modest sum of just over 14 million. Between both channels, Mr. Beast adds up to more than 102 million and that is on the rise with each passing day.
MrBeast opens his free burger joint
In December 2020, he published the video "I open a restaurant that pays you to eat there" and reached more than 100 million views. It was his own burger joint, which gave out free food and also gave away money. From morning to night, he gathered hundreds and hundreds of cars and upon closing he promoted the 300 delivery points in the United States, although they could only be purchased through applications.
Already in November 2021 he made another of his most successful and viral videos. Taking advantage of the success on Netflix, he made his own Squid Games in incredible settings, identical to those of the Korean series. Obviously it had sponsors and the winner took 456 thousand dollars.
In the first 15 hours of publication, the 25-minute video reached 31 million views and five days later, it reached 111 million. Currently, it has more than 230 million views on YouTube and has become the most viewed in the history of its channel. At just 23 years old, MrBeast created an empire. In 2021, he earned $54 million, according to Forbes magazine.
