Fundamental Rights of Child in India - Bal Raksha Bharat

The fundamental rights of child in India cover access to quality education, better healthcare, adequate nutrition, protection from exploitation, and more. These rights are implemented by the Government of India and upheld by NGOs such as Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children). 

NGOs like Bal Raksha Bharat work alongside the Government to ensure that the fundamental rights of child in India are protected. Save the Children India works on the ground to make sure children, especially those from marginalised communities, have access to their basic rights and better opportunities to grow into happier and healthier adults. Since its establishment in India in 2008, Bal Raksha Bharat has helped more than 10 million children and implemented more than 60 programmes in areas such as education, healthcare, nutrition, protection, resilience, and inclusion.
