The great thing about meat is that you can eat it anytime during the year! Fry it, stirring, deep fry, BBQ, roast, or anything else you have in mind are all valid ways of preparing. And when including side dishes, from mashed potatoes and other vegetables, you can mix and match to your heart's content. And when we throw in a nice cold beer, what's not to love? The only dilemma people face with meat is what to cook, and we are here to help!

1. Meat pie

Ground beef is an ideal start for meat pies. You can use a single meat type like beef (which comes from adult bovine animals) and pork, which is self-explanatory. To spice things up, you can use a veil, but that's up to you. The more types of meat you mix, the better. Once you have your mix of ground meat, you can start with the vegetables. Meat and vegetables go hand in hand, just a reminder.

Chop up carrots, paprikas in different colours, some tomato, garlic and onions. Fry the vegetables in olive oil, and once they are done, you can add the mixed meat. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. When you see the meat change colour, then it's time to add red wine. When the wine evaporates, that's your cue to turn the heat off. Now for the pie itself, you can go two ways.

You can buy premade pie dough, in which case all you need to do is line the pie pan with it, pour the delicious mixture inside and seal it. Or you can make mashed potatoes, work with your hands and create your ideal pie. Both versions go inside the oven, and once the texture is done, your pie is ready!

2. Meat pizza

Quick and easy recipe for your kids, parties and cravings! Buy pizza dough or make one yourself, whatever floats your boat. Tomato sauce with oregano and basil are what you will spear all over it. Mix ground-up meat with all kinds of cheese you love, pickles, mushrooms and bacon and spread it evenly. Add more cheese on top. You can never have too much cheese on a pizza. Sprinkle some more oregano on top and bam! Crack open a can of beer and dive right in!

3. Beef tenderloin

This one is a delight. Treating yourself to prime-cut beef tenderloin, once in a while, is the spice of life. You can start with procuring it via organised and nearby meat delivery from Sydney. Then when you have the perfect cut, you can use simple spices. The holy trinity is salt, pepper and paprika. Deep rubs so the spices get inside the meat. Then pour Worcestershire sauce and some red wine, and let it rest in your fridge overnight. Tomorrow, all you have to do is focus on side dishes.

While gently roasting your beef tenderloin on one stove, peel, chop and salt the potato in the other pot. All that's left is to cut up some mushrooms, garlic and onions. Fry them in light olive oil, and once they are done, you can pour the marinade from the tenderloin. With those three ingredients ready, you have a perfect meal to indulge in. The choice of beverage is up to you!

4. Beef and spinach stew

Delicious, nutritious, hearty and healthy! Asides from wordplay, this meal is incredibly easy to make and will fill you up in a second. Start by chopping onions and frying them in light olive oil. Add ground beef with salt, pepper, oregano, paprika and basil. Once the meat is done, add tomatoes and beef broth soup. At this point, you can add the pasta and let it boil. In a different pot, you can boil spinach, but just a bit! Spinach loses a lot of its texture and volume when boiled. Five minutes is all it takes, and then you can add it to your main dish. Stir it all together, and you've just made a meal that can last you for two days. Season to your liking, and buon appetite!

5. Homemade burger!

You don't have to go to an expensive hipster place to try a good hamburger! Again, ground meat is your friend, and mixing different kinds is the way to go. Add salt, pepper, paprika, powdered garlic, basil, oregano and just a dash of grounded bay laurel. Now work with your hands until it's all compact. Then fry some garlic and toss it in. Finely chop or grind mozzarella cheese and mix with a spoon or fork, because of the fried onion.  Toss in your meat mixture and let it sizzle. Cut your burger bun in half, and let it fry in the same pot you've used for your onions and meat. Then all you have to do is stack vegetables like salad, fresh onions and pickles. Get a cold beer and enjoy your day!
