The Golf Club of Amelia is an elite Fernandina beach golf club that offers a great golfing experience for players of all handicaps at a reasonable price. The North, West, and South nines combine for 27 holes surrounded by tall stands of moss-draped century oaks, rolling marshes, and more water.

North/West

With 27 holes, Fernandina Beach Golf Club is a local favorite for golfers. Its three distinct nine-hole courses – North, West, and South – measure well over 3,000 yards from the championship tees, offering a one-of-a-kind challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The sub-tropical climate lends itself to lush fairways and native foliage, a perfect complement to the smooth greens.

The course was designed by Tommy Bird Songs and opened in 1920. It's fairways and tee boxes are all Bermuda grass. The course is challenging for any player due to its length and the difficulty of the holes. The greens are well-groomed, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The North Course is quirky, but that's part of its charm. Its par-3 third Hole is especially challenging, with a knoll in the middle of the green where a ball will never sit unless it's perfectly struck. This course blazed its trail, not following golf conventions and creating holes that will keep you thinking. The North/West course also offers a glimpse of native Florida wildlife. Its long West Nine is tournament-ready, while the South Nine is a scenic tour where accuracy is more important than distance. Each nine has a unique design that will make your round memorable.

South/North

If you're a fan of the game of golf, you'll love this Northeast Florida treasure. The North/West, South, and West nines of the Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course combine for 27 holes of phenomenal golf. Each course measures over 3,000 yards from the championship tees and presents a unique challenge for players of all skill levels. Generous fairways and native foliage decorate the smooth greens, making each round a true pleasure.

The North course is a challenging layout sculpted around a forest of Oaks, Sabal Palms, Pines, and Wax Myrtles. It features creeks, ponds that come into play on several holes, and tough bunkers. The course also offers a great mix of holes, with some wide open and others tight and tree-lined.

The North/West nines are the tournament course of the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, and they are a challenging and rewarding layout for golfers of all handicaps. The fairways are generous off the tees, but accuracy is more important on this course than distance. Water comes into play on several holes, and the well-groomed TifEagle Bermuda greens provide a great test for all players.

Amelia National

Designed by golf legend Tom Fazio, Amelia National is a private golf club with world-class amenities. The course is a masterpiece of stellar natural beauty, designed for championship play yet forgiving enough to be enjoyed repeatedly.

Amelia National is a short drive to Amelia Island's legendary beaches and historic charms, as well as to shopping, fine restaurants, and quaint boutiques of Fernandina Beach. The area's thriving yachting scene, excellent coastal and deep-sea sport fishing, and marina facilities are nearby. The course challenges players of all skill levels, while the sub-tropical climate and warm Florida sun ensure lush fairways and greens.

The Legends Lounge

Lush and meticulously manicured, challenging but never frustrating, the championship course's diverse layout with stands of moss-draped century oaks guarding the front nine while rolling marshes and more water come into play on the back nine, rewarding patience and good decision making. After your round, gather with friends and reward yourself with a stunning view of the 18th Hole and delicious cocktails and cuisine from The Legends Lounge.

Located just west of Orlando near Clermont, the opening of the Legends golf course does two things: it adds another top-flight daily fee course to the already rich golfing landscape of Orlando. It highlights how central Florida has some intriguing land that is ideally suited for golf courses. There are long looks at the rural countryside from several holes, and even though the course is in a rapidly developing area of Lake County, there are still elevations that add intrigue.

The facility is a municipal golf course, and, despite being one of the most popular courses in the region, it is an affordable place to play. Designed by Tommy Bird Songs, the nine 9-hole courses (South, West, and North) measure more than 3,000 yards from the championship tees and present a different challenge for players of every skill level. The wide fairways are complemented by plenty of native foliage, and the impeccable greens offer ample scoring opportunities.
