Kaneri Math is the village popularly known for the ancient Shiva temple which is more than 1000 years ago. Later the development of the museum took place to attract tourists. History
Shri. Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji is 27th Mathadipathi with a strong motive and contributing to eternal social causes. He has considered a revolution in the place and initiated different projects over there. The place is serving free medical facilities along with a health care center with all the necessary equipment. The village life is scripted in the form of sculptures and statues which signify the then history of Mughals who ruled Maharashtra in those days. The primary object of the village life description is to clarify the system of having 12 Balutedar and 18 Alutedars.
Significance of the Place Kaneri Math Museum
The first phase of the Museum is quite covered with an area of approximately 7 acres. The museum has a thorough display of 80 main scenes exposed with 300 statues of persons, animals, birds, situations, equipment, etc. It is not just a vogue presentation of the situations but also enriched with perfection. The expressions of statues are beyond imagination. The statues are similar to real ones. Swamiji had a personal touch over every scene gathered in the village life. Even there is a description written to understand the concept of the village.
