As you may know, a sales funnel is a representation of the customer journey from the time they become aware of your business or brand, to capturing them as a lead and nurturing them through to purchasing and repeat purchasing.

In today’s world of growing online skepticism, it’s important to offer value and build trust in your product before the customer purchases.

In some businesses, you may be able to drive traffic directly to the purchase of an E-commerce product, but in most cases these days you offer some piece of valuable information to get “leads”. Whether via email, SMS, or a scheduled call… webinar, VSL, quiz, or other lead capture forms, you must give something to obtain their contact information.

After that point, you can text or email potential customers or put them through a series of videos to educate them and teach them why they need your product or service. At the point, that their juices are flowing and they’re hungry for it, you schedule a call or offer them a product depending on the process that works best in your niche.
