How to Manipulate a Dismissive
Explaining the term dismissive avoidant, it is used in the field of psychology to describe a
specific attachment style in any relationship. This term is part of the attachment theory given
by none other than John Bowlby. People suffering from a dismissive-avoidant attachment
style tend to be emotionally distant, more self-reliant, and often not comfortable with
emotional intimacy. They may often face difficulty showing their true self to others and are
not on the side of close relationships with any person. This attachment style may be because
of some childhood experiences and these experiences have an ever lasting impact on them
