STEP 1 – SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

You must first visit a doctor in order to obtain a Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC) in California. You will be examined by this doctor for at least one of the aforementioned medical issues.

ARE CA MMJ CARDS AVAILABLE TO MINORS?

Patients must choose a primary carer in order to get or utilise medicinal cannabis. The primary carer, who is legally responsible for the patient's housing, health, and safety, must be at least 18 years old. a person who owns, runs, or works for a hospital, medical centre, hospice, or home health agency.

A primary carer cannot make an MMIC application. Applicants must be patients. The MMIC for the patient and the carer are both valid for the same time frame. Counties charge varying amounts.

An application for a Medical Marijuana Identification Card cannot be made by the main carer. The designated carer must be requested by the patient. The validity of the carer registration is equal to that of the patient's Medical Marijuana Identification Card. By county, different fees are necessary.

WHO CAN GET MEDICAL WEED IN California?

A medical marijuana card may be requested by anybody who is at least 18 years old, resides in California, and has at least one recognised medical condition.

Minors under the age of 18 may obtain a medical card in California under particular circumstances. Eligible patients may include emancipated or self-sufficient minors.
