GM's global, cross-functional team honored 86 suppliers for their outstanding performance in the 2023 calendar year. The selection was based on criteria such as performance, innovation, cultural alignment with GM's values, and commitment to achieving GM's ambitious goals.

"We are truly honored to receive the Supplier of the Year Award from GM for the seventh consecutive year," stated Nurdal Kücükkaya, president and co-chief executive officer of Hanon Systems. "Our commitment to strengthening our partnership and providing innovative thermal management solutions for a sustainable future remains unwavering."

Jeff Morrison, vice president of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain at GM, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with these exceptional suppliers. "Together, we are pushing boundaries, pioneering new technologies, and redefining what is possible," he said. "Their innovation and support are vital in delivering world-class vehicles that exceed our customers' expectations."

In the selection process, GM's global purchasing and supply chain team prioritized three core values: safety, inclusion, and relationships. These values, along with sustainability, innovation, execution, resilience, and profitability, form the foundation of a strong and collaborative partnership ecosystem that drives mutual success for GM and its suppliers.
