The smaller one comprised of the most talented seamen, who traveled to Mexico on the boat and the rest of the survivors travelled on foot.

The natives met the larger group, they killed all of them except for one. The survivor could alert officials in Mexico of the tragedy that took place. in the following months, many rescue teams visit the Island and could retrieve around 41% of the cargo.
