Eric Dier (30, Bayern Munich), who started in place of Kim Min-Jae (28), was named one of the UCL's best players.
The European Football Association (UEFA) announced the Champions League teams of the week on its official website on Sunday. The team is made up of the 11 players with the highest scores of the week in the UCL Fantasy Football Game.
The matches are the four second-leg ties of the round of 16. The team is made up of players from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) vs Real Sociedad, Bayern Munich vs Lazio, Manchester City vs Copenhagen, and Real Madrid vs Leipzig.
Bayern Munich had a whopping five players.
The Bavarians defeated SS Lazio 3-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg of the 2023-2024 season at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on June 6th. After losing the first leg 0-1, Munich defeated Lazio at home to advance to the quarterfinals with a 3-1 aggregate score.
Kim Min-jae started this game from the bench. Munich went with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Harry Kane was up front, with Jamal Musial-Thomas Muller-Leroy Sane in the attacking second line.
