Features of two gates: Sariska gate and Thela gate
In Sariska National Park there are two main entry gates: Sariska Gate and Thela Gate. Both the Sariska National Park Tiger Reserve Gates have some key features such as:
- Sariska Gate: This gate is located on the eastern side of the park and is easily accessible from major cities like Jaipur and Alwar. It provides various essential amenities such as restrooms, ticket counters, information centers, parking, etc. It also provides various safari options such as jeep safaris, canter safaris, and occasionally hot air balloon safaris. This gate is surrounded by scenic landscapes and water bodies.
- Thela Gate: This gate is located on the western side of the park and is accessible from nearby towns like Thanaghazi. This gate also provides many facilities such as ticket counters, parking, restrooms, etc. You can get jeep safaris and occasionally canter safaris from this gate. This gate is less crowded as compared to the Thela gate and is surrounded by a rural landscape.
