Can You Use PS Plus on Multiple Accounts PS5
5 min read

You can share some of the PlayStation Plus perks if you have several PlayStation Network accounts on the same PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 system. You might have Playstation Gift Card India or if not then you can get the one from the trustworthy sites. Follow the instructions in this Seeking Tech article to learn how to utilize PS+ across multiple accounts.

What PlayStation Plus Advantages are Transferable Between Accounts?

The online multiplayer feature for purchased titles will be transferable between two or more PlayStation Network accounts. As a consequence, as long as you have another account that is subscribed to the service on the same gaming system, you should be able to play these games online on an account that doesn't have PlayStation Plus.

The other accounts can also be used to play games that have been redeemed from the Monthly Games Catalog, The PlayStation Plus Collection, Game Catalog, and/or Classics Catalog in addition to games that have been bought with a PlayStation Plus discount.

What Features of PlayStation Plus are Not Transferable Between Accounts?

You won't be able to directly benefit from discounts or redeem titles from the service on non-Plus accounts when it comes to PS Plus perks that can't be shared. Additionally, unless you are registered into the PSN account associated with your PlayStation Plus subscription, you won't be able to directly benefit from timed game trials or PlayStation Plus discounts.

On a single console, how can you share PS Plus between two or more accounts?

You must ensure that the PSN account that subscribes to the service has the current console selected as the primary one in order to share PlayStation Plus advantages across numerous accounts on the same gaming system.

You must go to the Settings menu on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console and choose Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play.

If the console isn't already turned on, you must then choose the Enable option from the Console Sharing and Offline Play menu.

Open the Settings menu on your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro console, and then choose Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PlayStation 4.

If your console hasn't previously been activated as the Primary PS4, you must then choose the Activate option from the Activate as Your Primary PlayStation 4 menu.

Log out of the PlayStation Network account that is currently a PlayStation Plus subscriber after putting your console in main mode. On the same console, you may then sign in to a non-Plus account.

You should now be able to utilize the non-Plus account to play online games and titles that were purchased and/or redeemed through PlayStation Plus, if everything was done successfully.

How Can PS Plus be Shared on a PS4 Using the Family Sharing Feature?

Family Sharing is a PS Plus feature that enables the primary account to share the subscription's advantages with their family. You don't have to take any more steps to activate it. Take a PS Plus account that has been tied to a certain console as an example.

Anyone who signs up with that account on any other Play Station will be able to take advantage of PS Plus's perks and even play all the titles that are linked to the primary account.

However, one of the devices will need to be configured as the primary console, for which you may do the following actions:

  • Use the account that has a PlayStation Plus membership to log in to your PS4.
  • Now access the machine's settings.
  • Navigate to the console's PSN menu.
  • Select it now and turn on Primary PS4 mode.

How is PS Plus Shared on the PS5?

Yes, a PS Plus subscription can be shared through PS5, as has been made abundantly apparent up to this point. Multiple users can benefit from services like 100GB of cloud storage, multiplayer gaming, online gaming, and a whole host of others, to name a few.

Once the user chooses the primary account for the subscription, all of these subscriptions, including quarterly, half-yearly, and annual, can be shared with sub-accounts.

Here, we'll walk you through the process of sharing your PS% membership on a PS5.

  • Turn on your PS5 first thing first.
  • Go to the machine's Settings menu now.
  • After choosing users and accounts, select 'Other'.

The Console Sharing and Offline Play option may now be activated by clicking on it.
