The Chinese Embassy or Consulates General in India may notarize only papers from the administrative or consular realm of the Republic. Residents can submit an application at the Chinese Consulate General.
Additionally, applicants may submit their applications to the Chinese Consulate General if they want. For individuals from the rest of the area, applications must be submitted at the Chinese Embassy.
Applications for notarization can only be sent to the Chinese Embassy or Consulates General in the Republic of India by Chinese nationals or Chinese expatriates living in India.
Each applicant's documents must be notarized in person at the Chinese Embassy.

Notary Public Fee:
For natarization, a demand draft must be paid out to the Chinese Embassy for China Embassy legalisation. It may take upto 4 business days to produce the notarized document. You will be charged an additional expedited fee to pick up on the next working day.
Some applications may take longer to process because the applicant has not submitted all of the required supplemental paperwork.
Attorneys' finds or the legalization of documents
Any documents issued that will be used in China should be authenticated or legalized by the Chinese Embassy or Consulates General. The Chinese Embassy or Consulates General in the Republic will only testify or legalize documents from their particular administrative or consular district. Documents issued in Nigeria and intended for use in mainland China must first be authenticated and legalized by the appropriate Nigerian authorities before being authorized by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in Nigeria in accordance with their specific consular district. Documents issued by signatories to the Apostille Convention may be used right away in Hong Kong and Macao of China after getting apostilles from the proper authorities.
