Where to Get Curative Marijuana in DC:
There are currently no dispensaries open in DC that sell curative marijuana. However, residents 21 years of age or older are allowed to grow up to six plants for personal use. These plants must be grown in a private residence and cannot be visible to the public. Additionally, residents are only allowed to possess up to two ounces of dried marijuana at a time for personal use.
How to Use Curative Marijuana Safely:
Marijuana should only be used by adults 21 years of age or older in a private residence. It is important to keep all marijuana products away from children and pets. When using dry marijuana, start with a small amount (1/8th of an ounce) and wait at least 30 minutes before consuming more. If smoking marijuana, use a pipe or water bong instead of rolling papers as these products do.
