ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup, a quadrangular One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament played by men's national teams and organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is to be hosted in India from 5 October to 19 November 2023. This will be the first Men's Cricket World Cup to be hosted entirely by India.

Ten teams will participate in the tournament, including 2019 defending champions England. The tournament will have a round-robin format, with all teams playing against each other for a total of 45 league matches. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals to be played in Mumbai and Kolkata. The final is to be played on 19 November 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Some of the most anticipated matches of the tournament are:

England vs New Zealand: The opening match of the tournament and a rematch of the 2019 World Cup final, which England won on boundary count after a tied Super Over. The match will take place on Thursday, 5 October 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

India vs Australia: A clash between the two most successful teams in World Cup history, having won five titles each. This match will be played on Saturday, 8 October 2023 at M.A. Will be held at Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

India vs Pakistan: A rivalry that goes beyond cricket, also involving political and historical tensions. The match will take place on Saturday, 15 October 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
