Government vs. People: They Are After YOU

Government vs. People: They Are After YOU
4 min read

We live in a dystopian world where the lines between government authority and corporate influence have blurred. These two entities have formed a powerful alliance that often works against the interests of the public.

This hegemony extends into and influences various aspects of our lives, even our opinions, shaping our lives in one way or another that we might not even realize. It seems that we're living in a dystopian land.

Today, the pharmaceutical industry presents a prime example of dystopian culture, as the companies have perfected the art of persuasion, using targeted advertising campaigns to turn viewers into potential customers by triggering their emotions using illusionary realism - which is an integral part of fiction writing and is vividly evident in J.A. Carlton's Wednesday Child: Freedom Fighters - to create a perceived need for their products.

The subtle message is clear: without this drug, you are missing out on a better life.

Unqualified Oversight in Health Organizations

Health organizations are meant to serve people and promote a healthy lifestyle, but they are being run by individuals influenced by corporate greed.

 Ideological Control

Our choices, particularly in healthcare, are also influenced by ideological forces. Religious and political groups often push their beliefs into legislation while pressurizing the government and corporations, thus affecting our thought processes, freedom, and personal health decisions.

One of the most significant areas of concern is the control over women's reproductive rights. Legislation influenced by religious zealots can restrict access to essential healthcare services like contraception and abortion, infringing on personal beliefs and bodily autonomy.

 The Broader Implications

The convergence of government authority, corporate interests, and ideological agendas represents a broader issue: the erosion of personal autonomy.

Corporate interests, backed by government policies, often prioritize profit over people. This is evident in various industries – agriculture, technology, manufacturing, and services - where the focus remains on maximizing revenue rather than ensuring public welfare.

Governments, influenced by powerful lobbies and interest groups, may enact policies that benefit a select group of people while neglecting the needs of many others. This results in a cycle of power and control that undermines democratic principles and individual freedom. Understanding the extent of this control is the first step towards reclaiming our autonomy.

As individuals, we must remain vigilant and question the motives behind targeted advertisements by brands, advocating for qualified leadership in healthcare organizations. We must also resist ideological interference in personal choices.

By staying informed and actively participating in public discourse, we can challenge the corporates-government alliance. We must demand transparency, accountability, and policies prioritizing the people's well-being over profit and control. The fight for true autonomy and freedom is ongoing and requires our collective efforts to bear fruitful results.

Wednesday's Child: The Freedom Fighters by J. A. Carlton isn't just a story about freedom; it's much more. The book delves into the complexities that the Delta Squad faces under the new Commander Stone Rivers after their Leader, Jade McKay, is abducted by forces trying to enforce their evil agendas.

The intricate plot, the subtle twists and turns, the dystopian theme, and the characterization make her book a must-read. It truly reflects the monopoly of the corporate-government bond that forces the protagonist to question the motives behind her endeavors, although she knows she is on a mission to protect and preserve the history of her beloved homeland.

The book also highlights how government and powerful entities work together to make people believe what's right for them. It's a novel that will keep you on your toes, leaving you asking for more.
